Our Nurse-Midwife Team

The unique opportunities that Antares provides for wellness and health maintenance through education, resources and services creates a perfect partnership with midwife care. Midwives Patty and Shari are an integral part of our team. Together, they have over 50 years of labor and delivery experience and provide up-to-date well-woman care.

Midwife means ‘with woman’ and both Patty and Shari are certified nurse midwives who are ‘with woman’ throughout their many life cycles. This includes the adolescent having her first exam, contraceptive counseling, family planning, care during labor and birth and the care of women in mid-life and through menopause.

Establishing a relationship based on trust, confidentiality and knowledge, Patty and Shari strive to empower women to make healthcare decisions based on their individual needs and believes.
